It started with a still
Our story begins in 1962, when the distillery for essential oils was founded in the city of Shumen. In the 1980s the first cosmetic lines were introduced, and Lavena's products quickly found their customers — making the company an important manufacturer and exporter of cosmetics.

Lavena is one of the largest cosmetics companies in Bulgaria — but we never stop growing. In 2020 we built a new factory for wet towels, doubled our warehouse, and modernised our production lines and quality-control laboratory.
